This maybe game changer our code needs to international level. Believe Ottawa penciled in for 2021 entry to uk system with support from local council and sports media. New York should have word by end of year but seems likely also.
Seen all the doom and gloom on total rl forum amazing for code.

Good luck to the guy if he can get that sort of money playing rugby league.....but damn, someone has more money than sense.

NRL.com twitter puts up video welcoming back SBW to league. Video is full of SBW shoulder charges that in 2019 would have SBW suspended by the NRL for all time. They should be legal hits. NRL are hypocrites.

Psssh, stop trying to coat tail on our work and $$$$ nrl. Find yer own stars (not in gaol)

Here ya go nrl, feel free to buy a "global" membership too!

Toronto Wolfpack fans all over the world will be able to show their support easier than ever before thanks to the Club’s 2020 Global (eagle) Membership package. The Wolfpack are extremely proud of their legion of supporters spread across the globe and this exciting initiative enables every fan to be intimately involved with the Club.

As the world’s first transatlantic professional sports team and first non-European team to rise to the Super League, the Wolfpack are a truly global Club with fans occupying every corner of the map. The recent commitment of superstar Sonny Bill Williams, as well as the re-commitment of several star players, has seen the Club continue to make waves internationally ahead of their historic 2020 Season.

Toronto Wolfpack has added additional quality to their playing squad through the acquisitions of Brad Singleton (prop) and James Cunningham (hooker/half scrum). Singleton’s contract is a three year deal (2020-2022) and Cunningham is signed for the next two seasons (2020-2021).

Making his professional debut in 2011 for Leeds, Singleton’s signature paves the way to a reunion with Wolfpack Head Coach Brian McDermott. Playing arguably the best rugby of his career under the towering Yorkshireman, Singleton was a critical cog in the McDermott-led Leeds teams that won the 2015 and 2017 Super League Championships and a myriad of additional trophies.

Singleton brings over 200 games experience to the Wolfpack and will strengthen their forward pack after the retirement of talisman Ashton Sims. With 23 Super League appearances for the Rhinos in 2019, Singleton comes to Toronto in form and ready to make a difference on-field.

At 25 years of age, Cunningham has 136 games experience and was a member of the Broncos squad that shocked the Wolfpack at Lamport Stadium in the thrilling 2018 Million Pound Game, a fixture that saw Cunningham’s Broncos promoted to the Super League for the 2019 Season.

Toronto Wolfpack Head Coach Brian McDermott, fresh off guiding the Club to a historic Super League promotion, has pledged his long-term commitment to the Toronto expansion side by signing a five-year deal to remain at the helm.

Adam Sidlow, Liam Kay, and Blake Wallace re-Sign With The Wolfpack

Inaugural Wolfpack squad member Adam Sidlow will feature in the Super League once more in 2020, with the towering prop set to take his Wolfpack journey into a fourth year after signing a two-year contract extension.

Liam Kay (winger), the first player to ever sign for the Toronto Wolfpack, will become one of the first to feature in the Super League when the transatlantic side plays their Season Opener on February 2. Fresh off signing a two-year contract extension, Kay recently joined a large section of the squad as they began pre-season training in advance of the historic campaign.

After signing a two-year contract extension, Blake Wallace (five eighth / half back) will get his first taste of Super League in 2020 when the Toronto Wolfpack begin their maiden campaign in the top division. The first player to ever score a try for the Wolfpack, Wallace was a member of the Club’s inaugural squad and the upcoming season will be his fourth in Wolfpack colours.

An Englishman, an Irishman, and an Australian walked into a bar......

(then re-signed to play footy with a kiwi)

Today, however, the Club announces what may just be the most important re-signing of all. It is with great pleasure that, in conjunction with his management, the Wolfpack can confirm their mascot, the beloved Jefferson, has agreed to a lifetime deal with the transatlantic team.

Woohoo!

Also - for some reason - THE WIGGLES are singing about all the wolfpacks themed games.

First pre season game is done and dusted.

Hopefully some rust has been removed and any wake up calls needed for the step up to SL has been received.

Toronto Wolfpack have taken to the field for the first time in 2020, claiming a tight 16-10 victory over Castleford Tigers in a pre-season friendly at Mend-A-Hose Jungle in West Yorkshire.

The Wolfpack fielded a strong 18-man squad for the encounter, with new recruits James Cunningham and Brad Singleton both pulling on a Toronto jersey for the first time. High-profile signing Sonny Bill Williams made the trip to England’s North but did not take the field for his debut appearance.

The Toronto Wolfpack have announced details of a planned match against the Kangaroos at the Canadian city's 30,000 capacity BMO Stadium on October 24.

The Wolfpack, who enticed Sonny Bill Williams from the All Blacks on a $10m deal, have been in discussions with the NRL about hosting Mal Meninga's Australian team on their way to England for the first Kangaroo tour since 2003.

PREPARE TO BE SCHOOLED, ROOS!!!!

(edit: Going for the most optimistic ratings in history...obv. lol)

Reckon I'll probably go if it all works out.
