Metres are most important but I would like to see a Metres column - Errors common , which should include dropped balls, missed tackles etc, that would give you a better perspective of how a player performs.

Speaking of stats, does anyone know where you can get match stats these days ??. The current NRL site is complete crap since their makeover this season, you used to be able to see the individual player stats for each game, but now it seems all they are willing to show is "leading performers" in various stat categories. I'm not sure what everyone else thinks of the new NRL site, but I reckon it is $hit. All they seem to be interested in is fluffy video grabs and instagram feeds.

Agree mate. The NRL site is hopeless this year. I managed to find some stats on the foxsports website.

I sent them feedback today around stats; I don't know what they are thinking. The new site is hopeless. Notice also how they bury the penalty count way down the list so you have to go looking for it.

Match centre is also buried under articles. Used to be clean and at the top of the screen. Their digital marketing boffin is looking for, what they call stickiness to drive time on the website and engagement. I just went to another website so they can stick their stickiness and lack of engagement right up their arse!

Not sure if you are aware but Aaron Markie ( One Eyed Eagle forum ) former MWSE employee ran the NRL.com page for 5 years, he left last year.

Not exactly sure of the reason but I bet it was $$$$

Clearly they’ve replaced him with some pimply faced nerd who knows **** all about footy.

They used to have a page that showed all the team lists for the upcoming round. Was easy to find because it was listed in top menu banner and linked. Try finding that information now, you need a compass and a packed lunch.
