Hunt I just don't rate.
Morgan has been made look good by JT.
Don't get me wrong he is a good player as was evident on the weekend but he's never had the burden of being the main man.
When I see DCE weave his magic in attack then go searching for work in defence that shows a player with time and only the best have that.

There was an article written this morning and it mentioned that one of the reasons smith and Cronk didn't want DCE was he ran sideways too much and didn't fit the direct style of play.
If that's the case then I would rather they say that as at least that could be a valid reason. Going on with the denials of his non selection makes it look more personal than it probably is.
The press conference showed what crap they were dishing up when Walters struggled to come up with the reasons hunt got picked over DCE. Utter crap.
Did anyone hear at the end of the press conference, when they thought the mikes were off, the old fella said to Walters, "well that was easy" and Walters laughed and he and miles said something else.
The qld media sure helped them out by not asking the hard questions. They themselves thought they got off lightly.

DCE is the better player out of the 3 regarding playing in the 1/2's

This has nothing to do with player performance and everything to do with clique's.
You have to be " in" with Scam and his " chosen ones" or you are well and truly " out".

Spot on @MissKate....! Bullying came to my mind as well. I am extremely angry that this is not taken seriously by more people. Taking off my maroon and white glasses, not one single person with an ounce of footy understanding could possibly say that Morgan, Hunt or Munster are better than Chez. It is the QLD old boys looking after each other and demonstrating an obscenely high level of bullying against Chez. This would not cut it in the real world and these moronic QLD old boys would be pulled up and/or sacked.
Bullying involves the following (and far more of course).....
*Inequitable or harsh treatment.
*Denying someone access to assignments, resources, projects or 'opportunities'.
*Interference or sabotage.
*It can also involve spreading rumours, or hurtful gossip or innuendo about a co worker. (Do you think the QLD media made up the BS rumours about Chez being offside with the senior QLD players etc, entirely by themselves?? Come on, I would bet my house on it that one or more of the QLD old boys made up/fabricated these rumours and set them loose.)
The list goes on....Etc, etc.
No wonder the NRL is struggling. Bullying is actually quite aggressive behaviour and just reinforces that Rugby League is a thugs game. Chez is not a thug, and I know people who don't follow Rugby League that much, that really like Chez and think he is good for the game in so many ways. He is a bloody good football player and is not on the white lines on the weekend trying to intimidate woman with Neanderthal speech and behaviour. Chez is a good guy and these bullies just can't hack it and are seething with jealousy etc.
The NRL is officially a real cesspit and consistently displays and harbours the four c's - corruption, cover ups, criminals and cheats.
And to the person who voted for dropsie boy, are you serious?? He is no where near the talent or skill of Chez.
Anyway, I am so very over the NRL. The game is being controlled by bully thugs, who lack any professionalism what so ever.

Correct me if im wrong but didnt DCE fill the role of the bench 'utility' type player for QLD (or Australia) during some of his rep games? He would be a better option than Hunt for that.
If they dont want to start him in the halves, inject him from the bench with a livewire roaming role in the last 15 minutes of each half, against tiring defences. He is physical enough to handle that stuff when attacking through the ruck

^^^^ Im watching that Tallis bit on NRL Tonight right now actually. All i can think when he speaks is i wish Fox Sports would send him to elocution lessons. But yes, his reasons make no sense

Tallis's smirking on NRL360 was obvious to all. He is of the belief that he has put Chez back in his place
At least Chez is now clear with the blatant Qld hypocrisy
Poor kid had to go through with the same negative Media stories when the Manly Clique tried to put him in his place and ZtC's mates spewed their bile.
A shamefull episode in Manly's own history 😎
