every ****ing year the Qld media come out with some major player having an injury meaning they will miss a s.o.o. game.

They almost cant report it with a straight face anymore.

DCE's form has been better. DCE is tougher. DCE has experience. DCE is more adaptable and can and has played 6,7 and 13. DCE is smarter. DCE is prettier.

In saying all that, I know that Qld are excited about Milford and Ash Taylor for the future.

If they want to win, they'll pick DCE. If they want to blood a young bloke, they may pick Milford.

Qld always want to win.

It could will be but Milford has to play himself into contention, right now I think dce has the upper hand based on previous experience and current from. Milford has been poor this year and shouldnt be considered yet but if he plays well he could be selected. Milford is more likely for a bench role.

If the choice is between Hunt, DCE, Milf to fill in for Thursto....

There is only one logical choice. DCE.

It is time for Qld to start blooding more young blokes with the era of Thurston, Cronk and Smith fast drawing to a close though.

Hunt is not a big game player. Milford is a gamble with his defence. DCE is a big game player, has great defence, a kicking game, good current form, a passing game and experience.

None of the current Qld side have anything against Daly and Kevie Walters is far shrewder than he makes out on TV.

If Thurston doesn't take the field, I believe DCE will.
