The team that played last night bore no resemblance to what I have watched in the previous 2 weeks.

The attack looked sharp, and more importantly seemed to have intent attached to it. The defence was, as usual solid, the kicking game was OK and Orford's penalty kicks seemed to regularly get 30+ metres, and special word must be made of the one goal line dropout that got close enough 50 metres on the fly as to count as one.

One swallow doesn't make a summer but enough was shown last night to have reasonable confidence of a top 4 finish.
