A lot of similarities to this years ladder on that, Top team 18, 8th on 16.

If we look at the teams on 12, where we sit now, both Canberra and Warriors made runs to the 8, while Saints forced themselves in as well.

The Warriors ended up being our toughest finals opponent as well, we are still well in this comp

Agreed Kiwi.  The Titans showed on the weekend any team 1st to 10th can beat any other and be beat.  What we need is a run of wins, gain some confidence and once we're in the eight, stay there.  The finals are a new competition.  Obvious really.  There are teams that have obviously no chance, Tigers, Parra, Sharks, Souths, but all the rest are in there.

How costly is Chechin's blunder against the Titans though?  Without it we'd be on the cusp of the 8 already and in place to leapfrog the Panfers assuming we beat them this weekend.

It's a 4 point game this Saturday.

We can look at the ceccin call and say that is gonna cost us but in reality... the early losses to Warriors, Knights and Panthers where we played like headless chooks has cost us more. Especially warriors and penrith.

That titans game we should have been ahead by more and the titans shouldn't have been within cooee. The first 4 rounds are where we've shot ourselves in the foot. I do believe we can recover though
