Darcy was a demon in 2016 - often holding the entire pack on his shoulders in relation to the war in tight....Gee we missed him.
Really felt against Eels who were back 6 metres, not 10, slowed down our go forward too easy on the day....we won the contact, but they still controlled the ground war and time in the tackle.
Kapow displayed Raw power at times and apart from loose carries, showed a bit of mongrel - Eels were always gunna have hands all over the ball, niggle and try unsettle us with an Ugly game plan that worked.
Cant wait for Lussick to get back - in his prime with best to come - adds that edge to combat these teams who grind and hope, like the Eels....
Not pretending Darcy is the world's best player but he is all heart and loves the tough stuff, which feeds his mates and opens up the game for the skill players.
