Things we we learnt from Round 13

What else could Wayne say?

Super coating that pile of dog **** would just piss off another 1000 fans into not turning up next time!!

Up until now even after some poor showing earlier this year, these articles had been reasonably 'kind', so to effectively call out the players for what they noted was our worst loss of the season, was unexpected but completely needed.

There’s been LOTS of sugar coating done all year.

It’s about time these overpaid pricks impersonating football players got to hear the truth!!

Last night Thommo, Kelly, Tapau and Tafua until he came off busted their guts.

The rest, ****ing pathetic!!!

Things we learnt.....

Shane Lane is a keeper, and I don't mean he should be playing for the Socceroos in the upcoming World Cup.

Also thought our goal line defence was good.

Sadly lacking in attack & resolve

Lacking in attack and resolve I agree with.

But I am not sure how letting in 24 points (while only scoring 12) can be considered good defence against a side that was running 15th and, other than Taumalolo and Granville, had an at best reserve grade quality pack.

We've learnt that we have regressed so badly in the last two and a half years that we'll find ourselves back in the NSW cup if we don’t sack the entire coaching staff.

That's the sad part. We haven't improved under Barrett's coaching and at times it seems we have actually gone backwards, even if you forget the injuries.

At this point its looking like finishing 7th last year (8th after the Finals) was flattering to deceive.

Thought some of cows tries were a little lucky & some were so damned good no team could have stopped them.
Thought our goal line defence made them work hard for their tries...
And that was the difference. Last night, cows were prepared to dig in & work hard, we weren't.
This was compounded by us running around like headless chooks in attack.

What we know is we r 2 losses from the spoon.(thats if Newcastle win) If that cant motivate this lot, they havent got a drop of maroon and white blood in them.

Who ever the defence coach is, needs to be shown the door. They have the third worst defence in the game. A good side starts with good defence...a lesson we learned from Bozo.

Things I learnt from rd 13 are:

> DCE falters after Origin snub
> TB had no game plan
> Sipley, Lane, Kelly, Thompson were our best
> Jetski got karma for his late shot on JT by getting a broken arm
> We can't underestimate how much we miss jake turbo through the middle and T Turbo's spark in attack

I had high hopes for JetSki however he is pretty average and a loose cannon to boot.
