I actually don't mind JTs analysis when he has covered games. Unlike some former players who don't want to upset friends still in the game, JT doesn't have any so he's more than likely to tell it how he sees it. Don't always agree, but at least he doesn't suck up to players.
In the City v Country game last year when all they did was talk up the Origin prospects of every player involved, JT actually shot a couple down in flames and said they shouldn't be picked and gave reasons why. I thought it was great.
As for his predictions in the Sun Herald. No worse than any other one I've read so far, got some right, and a few way off.
