Said it before and will say it again. Every team wants to beat the premiers. Very little chat this week on the site about this upcoming game. Similar 'we've already won this game' attitude must've been in the squad.
On the excuses side, it's always really tough for the replacements to put back to back performances of 1st grade standard together. So always a risk liam foran at 5/8 was going to be as good as he was last week. We're missing 4 game-winning internationals and that means we're vulnerable each and every week till we get some or all of them back.
