I don't know if correlation is causation as far as results are concerned, but this is interesting:


It does beg some questions.

Why don't we run over the top of some sides with sheer power at times? Do we ever use the size of the squad as an advantage, tactics-wise, or are we really living in the past?

The weight difference can be misleading .. the figures quoted are the average weight of the pack ... with 6 players in the back, just one light forward ... or one heavier forward could easily make the 1kg difference between teams ...

Yeah. We should be winning more lineouts.

Service from dummy half. They have to run over the markers after getting the ball flat footed too often.
