The Manly Corso all looking good …
The Manly Council has done a good job again in putting up all the Manly banners & bunting along the Corso. A numbers of shops done up and Humphrey’s Newsagent has got 3 Huge painted Sea Eagles in the front and a roaring trade with streamers, balloons & all the merchandise.
At the end of the Corso is a large stage for the Jazz Festival for this weekend. Whilst Monday would be reserved for the Jazz Festival, that stage would be a good as a post appearance of the players right in the middle of Manly at Midnight or soon thereafter on Sunday knowing Brookvale Oval is out of action and Leagues Club is too small (but the players could visit there & the Leagues Club 1st or 2nd after Manly). Anyway I don’t think it will happen, but having two visit centres on the night would create a good atmosphere (… again depending if the result goes the right way …!!).
