I got to watch this great movie last night and so wanted to know if anyone else had watched it (plus, it makes a good contrast to the I Am Legend post).
'The Man From Earth' is an independent film. Sci-fi genre, though zero special effects and most of it is set in a single room (the entire film is set in or around the house only).
The premise is simple: an impromptu party to say your goodbyes to someone leaving, when that someone tells you that they do not age and have been on the earth for 14,000 years.
I found it really engaging and I liked the end (though for some reason I did cry).
Anyway, you can probably find it online... I highly recommend it.
