I wonder how they are taking it on the forums, hope its not causing any issues @tajhay

I'm not sure if ppl are noticing tbh. Noone has said anything. I suspect since most of them visit often, its saved in their browser caches.

They are good sports, we have won forum banner bets and lost them too. We take it on the chin

I've noticed a lack of (good natured) outrage.

The only thing to do is for Tajhay to do something to the site so caches have to be cleared and they all see the logo (it's only fair), and then....

we can magnanimously offer to end the bet and let them remove the logo early.

wins all around, dignity preserved.

(either that or someone starts a thread on it..haha).

Not a bad site either (I'm not removing my adblocker) and I like the 'post game' discussion thread idea.

They have it at the canucks site and it's handy for those who want to read the aftermath...and not go through 30 pages of jibber jabber.

Slightly off topic but looking those clips of us playing the warriors and expecially the last one how lucky were we to have that team? Killer was sublime and i could only wish we had a centre with a quarter of his talent. DCE was a runner and didnt have yo over play. Foran looked strong and fast. Gifty was a super link man.... it was just all there.

Best side we ever had IMO but we have a lot of great sides over the years. It's hard to see where our next great side comes from right now. Our culture is shot to bits, and unfortunately I can't see how that changes anytime soon. Go Manly.

Years ago we used to have a running bet with the BroncosHQ and NZWarriors forums.

Bet was simple team v team, loser puts the other logo on their forum for a week.

In a moment of bravado I made that bet again with the NZWarriors for this week.
