Those games played says it all.

53 games less for our top 17 this year compared to last year and last year includes 2 weeks (up to 34 games) of finals so closer to 80 games more missed from our top 17 in each position, or 3 more missing per week.

and that doesn't include shoe in players like BJ and Buhrer this year and we had a few out the last 5 weeks or so last year as well.

Would be interesting to see the numbers for 2008, 2011 to compare.

So even less games together for our 17 on the park this year down from 322 to 247!!! 75 games less than last year. Approx 150 games less than 2014 they spent together.

Averaged over 26 rounds that is an astonishing 6 more changes per week.

Updated for 2017

27 players in total used this year, which was an improvement on the last two years. The vast majority of the team played over 20 games of a possible 25 - which was miles better than last year where we only had 2 or 3 crack 20 games for the season

That 2012 side was pretty honest as well . Should of near won the whole thing . Put in a absolute shocker against Melbourne i think in semi .Players got off the plane but left their tickers on it .

I believe we got the best player on the market for 4 or 5 years.

It was an inspired time for both recruiting and retention.

Updated with 2020 team. 27 Players used in total.

Leading try scorer for the year was Taufua with only 7. This is the lowest tally by a single player to win the leading try scorer award since 1949 when Gordon Willoughby was leading try scorer with 4.

For the first time in over 20 years our leading points scorer failed to crack 100 points for the season (Garrick-98)

Horrible stats.
Reminds me of the year Beaver was captain, he really deserved more.

Updated with 2021 team.

We used 29 players but 2 of those went down early and were gone for season and Tuipulotu only played 5 mins off the bench as 18th man.

Probably our best season in a while in terms of consistency of team make up week to week. We had the majority of the team play more than 20 games this season. You could see how that familiarity and combinations translated into improved performance, especially our attack.

Great year for our attack, with many records broken. 3 Players scoring 20+ tries, Turbo breaking Phil Blakes single season try scoring record with 28 and Garrick smashing Ridgey's single season point scoring record.

Players not on the team list - Boyle (2), Cust (10), Davey (2), De Luis (6), Funa (4), Gosiewski (6), Saddler (3), Sironen (6), Suli (13), and Burbo (4)

Some good sides there.. I've been blessed in being able to watch them over the years

Great work C & C. Interesting that last year our leading scorer failed to hit 100 for the first time in 20 years. This year our leading scorer broke all time records for the entire league. And both times it was Reuben Garrick, talk about the highs and the lows.

My first initial thought was how horrendous was our 2015 forward roster compared to the quality in the backs. Sure, a lot of those backs were on the down slope of their careers, but an interesting contrast nonetheless.

Updated with 2022 team.

We used 33 players this year which is the most for quite a few seasons. Put that down to 4 debutantes for Jerseygate game. In total we had 7 "one game wonders" this season too, which is the most I can remember for a while

Foran only player to play all 24 games. Outside of Jake and Haumole the forward pack was down on consistency of names week to week.

Attacking stats a big come down from last year. Garrick top try scorer with 12 and Tuipulotu the only other to reach double figures.

Players not on the team list - Boyle (1), Bullemor (11), De Luis (5), Fulton (1), Lawton (9), Parker (10), Paseka (11), Roumanos (1), Segeyaro (1), Smalley (2), Taufua (1), Burbo (9), Turbo (7), Tuaimalo Vaega (1), Weekes (2)

Updated with 2023 team. 20 years since we came back into the comp in our own right after Northern Eagles disaster

We used 30 players this season which is about average. Three of those were mid season transfers in Woods, Lodge and Arthur. On top of those 3 we had 6 other players make their debut for Manly this season. No "one game wonder" this season, compared to last year when we had 7.

Olakau’atu only player to play all 24 games. Croker only missed the one game, as did Bullemor coming off the bench.

Saab top try scorer with 14. Tommy kept up his amazing strike rate, 10 tries in 11 appearances.

Players not on the team list - Arthur (6), Condon (4), Fainu (5), Harper (9), Johns (8), Lawton (10), Lodge (3), Matterson (7), Trbojevic B (12), Tuaimalo Vaega (7), Weekes (9), Woods (15)
