The clean slate argument

I don't quite understand the calls for a 'clean slate' by some posters.

I take it the idea is a completely fresh start. But, regardless of how many leave, many players from the Des era will still remain, as well as plenty of the staff, including Toovey.

So what exactly is the mantra for the Brave New World? Get 'em all in and sit 'em all down blah blah. Then, everyone who is 'in' commits to stay with Manly for … er ... how long (exactly?)

And Manly commits to retain them for … how long (exactly?)

YEP! the 'clean slate' crowd can shove their agenda where the sun don't shine. As a dyed in the wool fan since 1968, I can wholeheartedly say that I am willing to accept our first wooden spoon in 2012 with Hasler at the helm ALL YEAR to face the fans, and NO escape clauses. The Dog and Dogs want to play hard then give it to them.....!!!!

and 3 things might arise......lots of TV coverage of home games (to witness Hasler squirm
and
no way we would still get the wooden spoon!! have faith about that

let him resign, NO getout clauses

ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!

😡
