Out of interest my girlfriend of the time went to the game with me that day and it was five years later till she attended another game. Getting married to me probably didn't help but she hated the violence and wanted to leave. It went on and on and on!!!!

A boxing match is a fight, a footy game is not, the object of a footy match is to beat the other team, the object of boxing is to hurt someone.

Well technically the goal in a boxing match is to beat the other competitor.  Also a goal in league is to hurt other players, if it was not you would never see players try and pull of big hits.  The purpose of a big hit is to smash and hopefully hurt someone.

As for the biff in league, it should not be like the old days and it will not but there is nothing wrong with the odd stink, I will always enjoy watching one.
