I traditionally stay off the site for a day or so after a loss .... not from lack of interest ... or lack of pain ... but because I feel that the emotional and disappointed are entitled to rant and vent .... I simply don't wish to suffer additionally by reading it .......

However, this time .... As a form of self flagellation ... I have forced myself to read most threads posted since we had our shorts pulled down ... and our nutbags removed .... last Thursday ......

So .... I wont add any more hysterical nonsense to the volumes of ridiculous garbage than has already been written ....

After a loss we need a psychological release feathered friend . It is not healthy to bottle up pain and suffering .
Express your hurt . Take a deep breath inhale the good air and let all your frustrations out !.

As a masochist by nature, I tend to self flagellate during the games.

Im more of a bottle open, rather than a bottle up kind of guy. I like my **** "out there"

Back to the original point though. Im generally in the woodsie camp of poster abstination ,not the selfy thing , after a loss for the same reason. but atm i feel so compelled because most have been ignoring the elephant in the room and trying to gloss over the issue with hope.

I can see people really changing and i believe its because people are ok with wasting a season or 2 on hope, but we look like we invested in a decade of hope and that **** is just not on

After just reading that now i know how parra fans feel. Well in theory i suppose, ive never been to jail, and my son lives with me. But i dont have a job

That's the nature of the beast with all passionate NRL fans like us . We all go through the melancholy feelings of seeing our team at the bottom of the ladder . Nothing lasts forever though . Have wings will fly and our mighty Sea eagles will once again soar .
May I ask what qualifications do you have ? Maybe one of us feathered friends may have a contact for you or be able to assist you .
That's what we are all here for . Sometimes we give each other the shts but its all in the heat of our passionate moment and we go back to being birds of a feather again :rofl:

Geez mate thats bloody niice of you. No my lack of employment is purely by choice. Im the stay home dad. My mrs is pretty clever and travels a lot , but she married me so you already know that. Nah lifes good bozo. I have one 13 yo son so that side of things is easy . Just moved to adelaide, bigger house, bigger land so im pretty busy with that ****. Also a scout leader and tuckshop bitch as well. Im 52 so hoping i may not have to go back to work unless i get bored and after nearly 13 years i am still to get bored.although the nrl penaltyathon screws with that theory. In saying that people underestimate how good boring is.

Like you, I prefer to digest things before I comment after a loss as a rule. I accept that we will not always have a great team and there will be painful defeats along the way, I understand the culture of our club and our ability to defy adversity and right now I am at a loss to explain how regressed our team has become after such a promising season last year. I just hope the powers that be do positive things and encourage youth rather than turning back to tried and trusted failures!!
