I"m foolishly hoping that he'll bring nothing but professionalism to the role and take it on with respect and effort and fairness.

He had times of being one of the best refs (didn't he?) so just take those qualities (you'll need to look real hard) and nothing else and he may just do a good job.  And by good i mean better than Finch, so the bar is set reeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaal low

I was hoping an ex player/coach with alot of time on their hands would take the job,not an ex ref whos to stupid to make an easy no try call and claimed he needed HD to see it,i watched that **** on REAR PROJECTION,THE BLURRIEST OF ALL THE TV TYPES and i could see that was a ****ing no try,my mate who watched it on SVGA projector agreed.....i want his tv.....its monitor clear
