Jamie Bruhrer on the bench?  Do we have an injury in the forwards or will Choc be dropped as he drops every second pass thrown to him?

Apparently Buhrer travelled to NZ on Sunday.

Was an ex-hooker, maybe Des is looking to use him as a utility off the bench?

Someone is under a cloud obviously. Maybe Bailey with his hand still looking a bit suss.

kitey must surely be pushing for his starting spot back he has been great so far this year

maybe Des sees all value lost in having perry on the bench?

What about the ref - Alan Shortall. Make up your mind, is he short or tall?

Just what we need in a ref fluffy - someone who can't make his mind up  ???

Hopefully Choc will shake himself out of the doldrums - its becoming embarrassing

That without a doubt would have to be the single worst joke/call ever made on this site.

That in fact makes Canteen Worker seem like Billy Connolly in comparison.

Cronulla Sharks: Albert Kelly, Blake Ferguson, Ben Pomeroy, Taulima Tautai, Nathan Stapleton, Trent Barrett (c), Tim Smith, Kade Snowden, John Morris, Luke Douglas, Grant Millington, Anthony Tupou, Paul Gallen. Interchange: Adam Cuthbertson, Josh Cordoba, Paul Aiton, Siosaia Vave

Bomb Kelly

Crowd Smiths kicking

Belt Barrett

Sledge Gallen

3 in the tackle for Cuthbo. 1 to hold, the other two to circle around & wait for the offload.

[/quote]Now that last sentence is a huge call!!!! :) :) :)

Jatz has it correct.  I have no idea why Parra didn't bomb Kelly more.  Still hasn't caught one clean yet has he?  Any other kick he seems to gather ok and is a speedy little fella, made some good runs.

Haha, that's if the big fella gets any game time.

Agreed, very poor effort

Buhrer is a big surprise, very small in size, not exactly the quickest off the mark so unsure about hooker role, maybe seu seu is off limits for Des and Higgins bit too young, sw Buhrer in Cronulla trial and he trys hard but made very little impact, sort of a Alan Tongue but not as chunky.

A matter of taste. Personally I found the comment humourous, witty, original, and inspiring. Jokes based on a pun are often the most meritorious in my experience. And while I didn't literally LOL, I did emit a muted grunt of approval and keen appreciation. I applaud the joke. Jokes of that calibre are what keeps me checking out this site.

I'm tipping Jamie Burher for big things if Darren is writing him off.

Also reported on Fox Sports was that Hoppa was very close to a start against the warriors due to Matai and Farrar being in doubt.
