Surely it's the last we've seen of Brown

OK let me start off by saying that I don't dislike LB as person, human being, spiritual energy force, whatever... This isn't about kicking a man while he's down. This is about burying a man with honours and allowing the talented pool of players bursting at the fringes an opportunity to grow and excel. The bench we saw on the weekend has finally laid to rest any credibility to Brown's value to the team as a utility cover. Surely this is the beginning of the end to the infamous career of Lewis Brown at the Eagles?

Like Nate Miles, he was a signing that I wasn't excited about at all. I can't see him being re-signed after this season and wish him all the best

Yeah this will be his last season at Manly. The team we had on Sunday was near perfect.

We have Lussick, Gosieweski and Winterstein as forwards cover, Parker and T Wright as backline and Fainu as utility/hooker should Hastings/Api go down.

He will end up at the Titans or the ESL.

That we could provide. Still have Dylan Walker and Darcy Lussick on the sidelines.

Walker will, pardon the pun, walk straight back into a starting spot when he comes back. That is pretty much a given considering that when fit and on form he's arguably the best centre in the NRL. And it'll likely be Brad Parker who drops back to Blacktown when that happens unless Kelly gets injured.

Lussick on the other hand will have a harder time getting back into first grade so soon. If Lane, Tanginoa and Perrett continue to play well off the bench and AFB continues to improve as a starter.....where does that leave Darcy? And I'm not just basing that off the win over doesn't-matta. Perrett aside because he didn't play, Lane, Tanginoa and AFB (when not giving silly penalties) were also good in the first round against the Knights so the form seems to be building and not just a one game thing.

Hastings over Brown as the utility is a must (how long have we been saying this now??). He can cover the halves, hooker and fullback. He also provides cover in the centres as he can play FB and Tommy can also play centre. Plus he is the best goal kicker at the club and if Cherry or anyone kicking is having a bad day he can easily take over. And as we've seen previously and for around half the game on Sunday, his dummy half work is very sharp.

In my team Brad Parker and Kelepi Tanginoa drop off for Dylan Walker and Darcy Lussick. Parker deserves to be there as he definitely is good enough, but right now when Walker and Kelly are fit he is 3rd in the pecking order unfortunately. Sad to say really because if he was at a club like the Tigpies, Knights or Titans he would be a starter every week. And Kelepi also deserves to be there, but Darcy brings a bit more experience, if he could ever use it positively and stay healthy.

Maybe Lewie might get traded before June 30, surely there’s a club somewhere they could use his valuable skill set!

Agree. Lussick will likely have to come back to replace some of our props through suspension or injury. Wouldn't mind if Baz gives someone a rest one week either. If our pack keeps performing strongly as a whole then I don't see why we can't rotate them each week to keep the standard up.

Sorry but I believe Tanginoa brings much more impact off the bench than Lussick. Until Lussick returns to the sensational go-forward form of the 6-7 games in 2016, I'd take Tanginoa every day of the week!
