Not injuries- fatigue - belted up mentally and physically....both are Super teams that can overcome adversity....but you could not pick a better time to play either after that Epic matchup

The only blood that flows these days comes from an accidental head clash. The rules are so restrictive these days that it is extremely precarious to be too physical. Proctor from the Tits got penalised for a "high" tackle on an Easts' bloke who was 12inches from the turf! His arm would have struck the attacker on the knee had he not fallen over at Proctor's feet.
Finals should be refereed allowing for the softening-up period.
I'm almost finished reading Spudd's book and it's nostalgic remembering the tough old clashes. He had a perpetual wound above his right eye that was always getting stitched. He'd tape it up, play his heart out and then when he was gassed he'd pick open the stitches and the blood would flow. The blood bin allowed his team a free interchange!

You might be right Bozo - it would have been nice to see it in action in a regular season game so we knew for sure what the best 17 were going into a sudden death game.
Penrith last night reminded me of Port Adelaide a bit in the AFL crused all season long but have folded badly the last 2 years at the pointy end of the season after finishing in the top 4.
Panthers still a chance to win this year but going through the storm is going to take a lot out of them if they do.

Talk about doing a Bradbury, we come skating through the Mel, Penrith carnage and claim the Gold Medal. This plan is a slow burner, but this can work !!
