While thinking up new ways to maim players the storm hierarchy complain loud and often if anyone calls them out on it.

Oh...and I guess they were under the 'cap' always and should have everything re-instated.

The Melbourne Storm have sent official complaints to the NRL and Fox Sports about the comments made by journalists working for the broadcaster that were directed at coach Craig Bellamy last week.

The Storm, and in particularly Bellamy, took offence to comments made by NRL 360 host Paul Kent, who said the Storm implemented wrestling tactics "designed to maim and injure players".

Melbourne Storm chief executive Justin Rodski emailed NRL and Fox Sports executives on Saturday, before making their position clear to club members. The Storm said it will not take legal action.

"This week, our coach of the last 19 years was, in our view, unfairly criticised by particular commentators," Rodski said.

To be fair (too bee faiir, toobee farrr...)...

PK is a d*ck too...

I don't know who to feel sorry for the most ,
The Cheating Storm having truths hurled at them
Or
The cheating roosters for Salary cap intervention for a team probably twice over the salary cap.

I would love to see the demise of either of these two POS clubs.

Why stop at one?

It was a Gold standard rant by Kent. I recommend having a look if you haven't seen it.
Not sure what the Storm are complaining about. Kent was only speaking the truth.

Hope this doesn't result in the NRL leaning on journos even more to only report positive stuff - remember Greenturd's "select few" policy?

Kent's rant indicated that has been removed so fingers crossed it isn't reintroduced as "V'Landys' chosen few".

I have zero time for the Storm and the continual grubby rules bending tactics they devise year after year after year after year after year. They are the greatest rule benders in world sports history. If there is a rule they will abuse it.

I doubt these tactics are "designed" to maim players as Kent says. That's just the unfortunate by product of their grub wrestling. They are designed to get the Storm advantage by slowing down the play the balls, something they have done obsessively for ALMOST 20 YEARS. You'll never stop them. They are like termites, spray them in one spot and they pop up in another.

Obsessive slowing the play the ball down at any cost whenever a team is on a roll , along with the fact Bellamy is a great motivator and leader of men is why they win year after year.

Bellamy is great at what he does. It's just a pity it's largely against the spirit of the game in almost every instance. But winners are grinners.

Greenberg had so many policies: "The Select Few", "The Eyeball-to-Eyeball", "Consistency is Overrated", "But Will it Hurt Manly?", "The Daughter's Touch Footy Team Watercooler Chat Test", "Guilty Until Proven Innocent" - the list goes on. He truly was an innovator in sports administration.

Reminds me of 2008 all over again.

Storm invent the grapple tackle
Cam Smith gets suspended for using the grapple tackle
Bellamy blames the media.

And remember after the GF (in case you forgot, we won 40-0) the Storm wanted actions against everyone in the stadium who boo'ed when Smiths ugly mug was shown on the big screen. Now that I think about it, I still haven't received my fine.

Speaking publicly for the first time on the matter, Munster launched an impassioned defence of his long-time mentor on behalf of his teammates, announcing he'd had a "gutful" of the criticism directed Bellamy's way.

"I've had a gutful, to be honest, no one goes out to do any malice to players," Munster told Nine's Danny Weidler. - lolololololol

"It's a bit of a disrespectful thing they've been saying about the club.

"If they have a problem with someone, go and talk to them about it. Don't go sit there and winge about it on a panel. - says the guy saying this in the media and not by "going to talk to them about it".

stupid is as stupid does
