Even though we didnt play our best, the stats were still pretty even and we competed well with a very good team. The Good: NO errors from Choc. The Bad: Kite-4 missed tackles for a prop is a disgrace!

You can read too much into the missed tackle stat. Especially when poor reads can result in a line break don't get picked up in that column. Foran had a very poor read on Bowens try when he just went through and that won't show up in the missed tackle column and it hurt us more than any tackle Kite missed.

Kite was back to his arse leading best. Maybe it's time he was whispered to and sat on the bench to start.... or replaced entirely. Rose too I thought had a poor game. It was the Thurston/Bowen show. Two missed try scoring opportunities in the first half really hurt us, as did the couple of soft tries we let in. I just can't see how we can't defend on the line a dummy half run in. Terrible. There's a lot of scary youth up there.

Yeah, I told you the other day that you forgot to mention Bowen as if anyone was going to find holes in our defence it would be him. It's like Luke Burt when we play the Eels. He always manages to come up with something to score against us too.
