the 2nd half completion stat tells the story 6/17 is why we really struggled

the other thing was the yardage from dummy half. Storm seemed to get loads of run on whereas we seemed to stall alot. Gave Cronk lots of space.

Yes, too many handling errors in the second half was the main factor. That combined with injuries during the game to key players on top of those who didn't start...... 18-6 in Melbourne isn't that bad.

also our kicking wasnt on song, many times DCE was the only option for kicker as foran was centre and they put a lot of presure on him.

THats the bonus of Cameron Smith.  He makes it so much easier for Cronk and their forwards because the markers can't get out to put pressure on them because he seems to mesmorise them.

Not too bad at all, in fact losing next week to last years Grand Finalists won't be too bad either.......not.

We need to get real here boys and girls. Melbourne threw nothing at us last night because they have nothing except Slater,Cronk and Smith. Their forwards are popgun or hasbeen their backs are a shadow of what they once had. YET we couldnt penetrate them at all. Our forwards are abyssmal our yardage is appalling. They had nearly 300m on us. Thank god for Cronulla and Penrith at least I dont think we will come last.

Mick if fans know the Storm forwards are average, what are teams saying about us and our pack? Be careful of thinking Cronulla are worse than us at present. We may be playing for alot more than the Steve Rogers shield, it could be the spoon.

Sometimes stats don't match what you see. This however is exactly what happened.

Outplayed.
