A good mate of mine is a diehard Dragons man - from cradle to grave.  His only son is best mates with my eldest and about a year ago my son convinced his boy (Jedd) of the merits of the Sea Eagles.

Father has waged a war with Jedd now for well over a year to get him back to the Dragons fold.  But today I can only assume he's relented to the inevitable because he has splurged on a Manly jumper for Jedd to wear to the game on Saturday.

Cost of jumper: $70
Cost of tickets to Saturday's game: $50 (as long as CW arranges free passes for the boys)
Accompanying my Dragons fan mate to the game with his only son proudly wearing a Manly jumper: Priceless.

I'm in a similar situation with my Parra loving mate and his two boys, had them hooked until that woeful grand final performance, getting there again slowly.

My boys are avid recruiters at their school - I think they've nobbled ten to the cause at last count.  The eldest has already managed great mileage of of his "noone likes us, we don't care" shirt.
