Amazing really the number of players who sustain serious injury yet make it back and go on to have lengthy careers. Toff seems like a top bloke and he is developing nicely in our prop rotation. He is a monster!

I had the privilege of meeting Toff last night and he took a photo with my daughter. Let me just say this man is an absolute down to earth guy. He gave us all the time in the world and he genuinely seemed to enjoy the time around his supporters. People like Toff that don't walk around with an inflated ego (like some in the NRL) deserve not only respect, but, all the success in the world, regardless the team they play for. Thank you Toff for the time you gave us last night and the photo with my daughter (we have a great memory), regardless what happens in the future I hope you never lose that humbleness which money will never buy. Wishing you well for tomorrow night!!!
That is great to hear. It’s easy enough to see that interview and think he sounds like a good bloke, but to know there is that sort of personality and character in the squad makes me happy, just as much as a win. The Dessy and Donny factor me thinks.

On Wednesday Manly doubled down, sorting Sipley's future at the club until the end of 2021 with a new deal and faith in his ability to now keep himself on the paddock.
"The club's shown a bit of faith in me and it was good to get it signed and out of the way before going into the game, I'm grateful for the security," Sipley told NRL.com.
"The first time I did my knee when I was younger coming out of 20s, I broke down in tears. But this time around when I got told, I felt something different.
