First Grader
So the starting line up has almost been finalised. We will re run voting on the fullback position after the Bench has been selected. I have also thrown some specialist benchies in for some interest.

Side so far:

TBD
B Morris
Lawrence
Jennings (J Morris if Jennings unfit)
Uate
Carney
Pearce
Gallen
Hinchcliffe
Tamou
T Rex
Watmough
Stewart

Lewis
Sims
Bird
Weyman

[edit] Interchange added.

Thanks Napper. Discard Barba, no idea why I had down as a NSWelshman.

Yeah I left Mannah out Disco as he only generated 1 or 2 votes originally. I cant alter the Poll but if anyone wants Mannah just reply below and i'll count them up at the end.

What the so called "experts" think.

Since when has eligibility had anything to do with origin selection. Come to think of it, stuff Pearce we should b picking DCE at 7!

Based on the pack already selected, I'm thinking one big boppa, one solid backrower and then a couple of utilities. I notice Idris is out of favour this year.

Weyman or Douglas
Lolly Jars (or Sims, but untried at this level)
Lewis (has to be in 17)
Bird (I'd go Mateo but I don't think he is mentally suited for Origin)

Our centres look like they are all LHS specialists. Jennings, Lawrence and Morris. Lyon would be a walk up start if he made himself available.

Gifty is a better Lock than anywhere else in the backrow.

As for TLL he has had his chance and failed to really impress for mine.

Creagh should be stamped "never again"
TLL looks way better now he has grown his hair.
I'd have Lewis, Weyman, Sims & Mateo/TLL

Poll fixed.

Whoever the two people who voted for Barba are, your votes have been deleted.

B.Stewart
Uate
Lawrence
J.Morris
B.Morris
Carney
Pearce
Gallen
Farah
Galloway
Watmough
Lewis
G.Stewart

Hinchcliffe
T.Williams
T.Sims
Tamou

This is about the best on offer and in-form that I can put together for the match.

TLL, LEWIS, SIMS, DOUGLAS, Lewis for utility and proven performer. Sims for impact ( and i think he can get a little crazy) TLL for size and Douglas for grunt work. With the forwards we picked i think the bench would balance them out, gift and lewis can cover 1/2's and Carney to hooker for the 10mins either side of half time.

Deleted but not replaced.. I only got to vote for 3

Stuart is in the papers today saying he needs to take risks. I take that as meaning he's going to mean that eventhough T-Rex hasn't played for nearly 2 months he'll get picked.

Weyman isn't playing well enough for mine at the moment, far too many dropped balls and silly mistakes

Hunt and Merrin have been the best of the goons boppers on the games i have seen.

Galloway is just getting back from injury but didnt look to bad last year.

Woods and tamou have been the big improvers in the front row, can you afford to take both inexperienced boys in the same team?

TLL remonds me of dane looks like tarzan plays like jane carlaw at SOO level

I don't see any issue with taking inexperienced guys into the game, especially when the experienced guys have looked so terrible in the last few years.

Pretty much agree with that.

Woods was the best metre eater in the city county and has been huge since he got the confidence out of that the last 2 weeks with 23 runs each game and 179 & 192m gained. 6 straight weeks at over 100m shows he is consistent too right now. He & Gallen are the form front rowers for NSW.
