Short sighted decisions all round - Stronger Together!

It's amazing how "emotion" takes over all logical decisions, and it doesn't matter if you're a player or management.

Player;
Kieran Foran - whatever has happened over some months last year and even now is not what will be happening in the future. The bottom line is you're a Manly boy, with a Manly premiership and are highly regarded where you are. You have the potential to become a legend of the club. Leaving to join the arch rivals for a coach who's certainly not Wayne Bennett is short term thinking at best. Helping Parramatta to win their first premiership in 30 years isn't a challenge - helping Manly stay top of the League and building a real legacy is. Peter Sterling and co will never be trumped as Parramatta legends over there (and certainly not from a Manly boy!).

Management;
Joe Kelly - just because DCE has embarrassed you by signing elsewhere doesn't mean you have to off load him straight away. He's a great half back, we still have a chance to win this year with him in the No.7. Buy yourself some time to find some good replacements for next year.

Put the emotion aside, and think of the real opportunities.

Stronger Together!
