From the Manly Sea Eagles website, here is the ' Injury Update: Taniela Paseka' released on Tuesday, 25 March 2025:

Sea Eagles prop Taniela Paseka has undergone surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon.

The 27-year-old suffered the injury midway through the first half of Sunday night’s Round 3 victory over the Raiders.

Taniela is aiming to be available to play in Round 25 this season following a 16–20-week recovery period.

From the Manly Sea Eagles website, here is the ' Injury Update: Round 4 vs Eels' released on Monday, 31 March 2025:

Tom Trbojevic is expected to miss about four weeks of football after injuring his knee in the Round 4 victory over Parramatta Eels at 4 Pines Park.

Scans have confirmed
Tom has suffered minor damage to his medial collateral ligament in his left knee.

From the 'NRL 2025, Injuries, Suspension Return Dates, Casualty Ward and Key Information for the 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership Season' web page, Here is the Latest NRL Injured or Unavailable Update:

* * * (Updated: Tuesday, 08 April 2025) * * *

Manly winger Jason Saab is in doubt for next week's clash with Cronulla after he limped from the field late in Sunday's loss to Melbourne.

Coach Anthony Seibold is optimistic the injury is not serious but fears
Saab will miss the trip to Perth.

"Saaby's got a high-ankle sprain," Seibold said. "They're telling me it's minor. I don't know whether he'll be available this week, which will be disappointing for us and Saaby because he's had a good start to the season.

Manly fullback Tom Trbojevic is facing a month on the sidelines after injuring his medial collateral ligament in his left knee in the win over the Eels.

Trbojevic appeared to pick up the injury in the first half and battled through the pain but did not return after half-time.

Scans confirmed minor damage to his MCL and the 2021 Dally M Medalist is set to miss four weeks of football.

Here are some points to consider for this game:
  • We came into this round in 6th place on the NRL Ladder.
  • We were 2nd in the competition on attack points.
  • We were tying in 12th position in defence with the Raiders (Wests Tigers are 11th).
  • We had the 4th highest differential with +28.
  • At the start of Game Day, today, we are still in 6th place on the NRL Ladder.
Lets just hope that we can put in a good performance this afternoon, and tighten up the defence so that our position on the ladder doesn't fall too far from what it currently is in this round so far (6th).

Whilst I think we’ll get absolutely reamed today look at some other games this weekend.

Penrith with Cleary / Edwards back , absolutely dusted !!

AND the genius tipsters ( not me ) who had a full strength Donkeys , at home being plastered by the Chooks who were running almost last.

So who knows, we might come out and slaughter the Gummies.

And then just like last week when I got 2 points in the tipping , it’ll be about the same this week.

Fair dinkum , the year for tipping probably ****ed in two rounds

I know a lot of you will be looking forward to the game today. I don't want to be captain buzz kill so apologies for sharing this but I just needed somewhere to vent. I normally look forward to watching Manly play each week I know it's just a game of footy and but I'm irrationally dreading watching this game today. I really am. I know I could just not watch it and not care but I can't not. I guess it will be like watching a car crash as much you try you can't just not look...... It sucks. I'll move further negative sentiments to the dark thread....
If you need help contact Lifeline 13 11 14 available 24 hours.
Hope you feel better soon

I am expecting us to bounce back and win today in a very tight match.

Manly 28 Sharks 24
What I'd love to see... Manly bash the Sharks from start to finish and win the game.
And best case scenario, DCE to star with a clever game managing performance, because that would really help keep a lid on all the speculation crap.

I live on the South of Sydney
and ....
I can not stand the Gummies supporters and their Bubble Gum Up Up Cronulla Nursery Rhyme .

Come on Manly
Lets Down , Down Cronulla
and Climb back Up the Ladder
