Just had a look at the website under "Teams" to checkout the latest 1st Grade & Intrust players.......1st Grade has all the new signings, No Suli but including Croker, Perrett, Kioa & coach > Trent Barrett. Intrust still has the Wrights, Brown plus Suli & Perrett plus plus..........kinda confusing. Management still appears to be lost haha.

Updating is in progress, apparently the site is managed/administered by NRL so it does take sometime to get things changed

They are so slow to update this sort of thing. Need a complete clean out of whoever they use to do the website and get some bloody creativity going.

Our club has take such a battering over the past few years we could really go on the offencive with a positive spin culture through social media and sites such as this one.

Some aspects of 'professional sports ' really are still in the dark ages. I work in the media creation game and content is king. Video content even more so.

I would really push a new agenda for the mighty eagles. Get some young guys and gals producing content that's fresh and cutting edge to drive a new direction. Content that excites instead of just informing. New content which is up and close and personal to our side, the coach, the players and even the owners.

Stuff the NRL machine and get our own stuff out there. Leave greenturd and his special teams in our dust.

I would say it's part of the NRL strategy to try and control the press as much as they can

I know that NRL digital run all the clubs websites on a standard platform.

Aaron Markie worked for them for some years setting this up ( no longer there).

The idea was that some clubs had absolute **** websites and some had slick ones so this was making it all look rather the same.

I’d suggest there’s a very small team ( could even be one person ) that manages the 16 clubs so I’d suggest he / she / they might be a tad busy at this time of the year.

Actually last I heard they were both off on a jolly to Russia, struggling to think what connection Russia has with league, obviously looking for a bit of a mix on their all expenses paid world tour
