Is this true???

Gettin' amped for Sea Eagles v Knights at Gosford tonight!

I usually like to get to this game each year (these teams always play @ Gosford @ least once a season) as it's handy and usually a good atmosphere, but I cannot make it this year.
Will be watching it at the pub mightily!

Some reminders of some recent Manly v Newcastle clashes at this venue..

From Round 22 in August 2007:
Sea Eagles: 50 def. Knights 16.

From Round 16 in June 2008:
Sea Eagles: 28 def. Knights 12.

"Manly maintained top spot on the competition ladder with a comfortable 28-12 win over Newcastle in Saturday night's round 16 NRL clash at Bluetongue stadium in Gosford
Manly 28 (D Williams, S Matai, A Watmough, J Lyon, S Bell tries; M Orford 4 conversions)
Newcastle 12 (J McManus 2, C Vuna tries)"

From Round 20 in July 2009:
Sea Eagles: 44 def. Knights 20.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/07/24/2636073.htm

"A second-half try blitz has lifted the Manly Sea Eagles to a vital 44-20 win over the Newcastle Knights in Gosford on Friday night.
Last year's premiers scored all their points and conceded only six after slipping to an early deficit in a performance that will send shudders through the challengers to their title.
Manly: 44 (B Farrar 2, T Williams 2, M Ballin, K Foran, G Rose, A Watmough tries; M Orford 6 conversions).
Newcastle: 20 (R Fa'aoso, S McDonnell, M Taufua tries; S Dureau 2 conversions, 1 penalty goal; W Naiqama 1 conversion)."

Whilst I'd love to see a replication of these kind of results, Manly's form this season with no wins thus far puts them at a real risk of the Knights reversing the trend.

Let's hope for a good, clean, hard-hitting and honest game, with very few errors from the officials.

TAB Sportsbet odds currently: Manly $1.60 v Newcastle $2.30 Head to Head.

Go Manly!

YES.
Fantastic to see the Sea Eagles on the board for season 2010, with another dominant display @ Gosford!
