Saddler was knocked out as soon as he came on, we had two players on the bench that barely got any minutes. We have so many forwards out injured, it all took its toll on us today.

Our field position was non existent and Cherry had a lot of pressure on his kicks as he was effectively the only kicking option until very late in the game when Crocker shifted to six.
Paseka also went off for an HIA quite early and even though he came back on he wasn't his usual dynamic self today.
We've run out of forwards.

Feel sorry for Josh. Listening to Rothfield this morning he said that over the past two weeks he has been high in discussions at the selection table and if not for injury was a high chance of making the squad.
Hard to say but probably best that he's not in. Still learning, still growing. Perennial problem of how to pace the development of a brilliant kid.

Doubt he would have made the 17 however he may have been included in the squad to give him a feel for it. He plays yesterday and we win as simple as that.

Probably could have pulled off a win yesterday with Schuster playing but Knights had Pearce and Ponga out , so unfortunately still not a good reflection on Manly "s overall performance yesterday . Probably or maybe inevitable for an upgrade for Josh in coming seasons if he hopefully can maintain his present good standards but managed to hold on to Gifty for many seasons and with his similar above average rating so shouldn 't be much different in Josh "s case with the right management and circumstances

A lot of outs for us though as well mate - Foran, Schuster, Cust, Walker, Aloiai, Sironen etc. Plus two HIA's, Saddler gone in the first few minutes of the 2nd half and two sin bins. Tough afternoon at the office. We didn't make it easy on ourselves but plenty went against us.

Certainly can acknowledge all of that , probably just so disappointing also with the much better position Manly would have been in coming out of the bye with 16 points with a win yesterday and within better range of a top 4 finish . Just need that certain and consistent level of professionalism and clinical play that the Roosters for instance still show regularly even with a fairly severe injury toll and suspensions . Even poor reffing and inconsistent bunker rulings can not restrict that in any major way . Should have bought Suli and even Burbo into the match earlier to try and lift things even partly. Anyway what "s done is done and very hopefully just a one off and normal transmission can resume again A S A P .

Definitely get you mate - That hurts our top 4 chances, no doubt!

I think we really need to determine what we want to do with Suli - At the moment he's essentially taking up a bench spot each week, comes on and doesn't really play any sort of significant role.

Especially with yesterday"s situation and all the disruptions to the pack and high workload with limited possession , Suli having more game time would have been helpful . Anyone "s guess how it is going to pan out when ideally many of the present unavailable troops return and in relation to Suli but still seems to have something to offer if used properly . Team has largely put it all together the past couple of months , especially with Schuster and even Foran in the mix , even being on the back foot for a good part against the knights , certainly could have done with the type of better direction that those two can usually provide

So you have watched both games and are trolling or, you missed the last game and half of this one and it’s a genuine question?
No, I've been running workshops while we've played our last couple of games so I haven't been able to sit and watch all of the games fully. It's been in sections and cursory glances at times. It was a genuine question sorry

And we had Schuster, Foran, Cust, Walker, Sironen, Aloiai plus plus out…..with either one of our ‘outs’ we win!
