Exactly the same kind of thing I used to read (including from myself) when we signed Ben Kennedy, mate.

Yeah I won't argue with that. I guess a lot of Manly fans groaned when we signed Ben, but it proved to be one of our best ever signings and he helped turn us around into what we've seen in the past decade.

I just don't want Manly to turn into a retirement village for nomad players in their final years. Let them go play on the Gold Coast, they'd fit in well in that part of the world.
