Rule Changes 2018

So NRL is making a couple of rule changes in addition to the clampdown on the play the ball.

1. Clock will be stopped for 30 secs after a conversion to stop teams time wasting. Will average in 3 mins of more playing time/action.

2. One on One strip is changed so as long as only 1 defender is in the tackle at the time, then the one on one strip can legally occur. No longer matters if someone drops off the tackle.

I'm sure they're already practicing it. It was probably Smith's idea for the NRL to introduce it.
