Round 1 is fast approaching cannot wait for Friday night.
I know round 4 seems ages away but I just wanted to inform my fellow manly tragics of some information in regarding to our clash against the roosters on Saturday March 26th 7:30pm ( that is the Saturday night of the Easter long weekend).
The AFL have announced today that all Sydney swans games will be played now at the SCG. Why I say this is now the swans will be playing it's round 1 match against Collingwood ( starting at 7:25 pm) on the same night as our game.
With both matches being played at pretty much the same time a crowd of over 45,000 for both games ( 35,000 for swans and around 10,000 for ours) could be expected to turn up.
I just want to give any Manly fans who are thinking of going to this match advance warning of this situation and time to consider there transport options for the night.
Parking is normally a nightmare but with probably those crowd numbers parking will be twice as bad.
