CS9 hit the nail on the head. His hit on Mahoney was with his free arm. This one was his ball carrying arm. He cant make it disappear.

I think that's better for them and bad for us.

They will pick Cook now, who I think should have been picked for Game I and likely would have been a different result if they did. I have no doubt they will drop Luai and pick Walker now. Walker didn't have a good game at Suncorp in 2019 but he's a better player today than what he was back then.

I think that's better for NSW and bad for us.

They will pick Cook now, who I think should have been picked for Game I and likely would have been a different result if they did. I have no doubt they will drop Luai and pick Walker now. Walker didn't have a good game at Suncorp in 2019 but he's a better player today than what he was back then.

They're two players that like to play direct, and that's one thing NSW were lacking in Game I.

Possibly but I think the 2 hooker strat is the way to go regardless and those 2 are the clear choices for that, Robson is surely the best option for them now if they do it for game 2.

I know the hype seems excessive, but honestly the guy deserves it. You would be hard pressed find a tougher guy, super clean genuine all round decent lad.

It gets a little quiet on here during home games, as a good bunch of posters attend the matches. But a few out of towners will pass their judgement no doubt throughout the game....

Pessimism levels are high on the forum atm. The under-current is basically:
Nothing has improved since Des left
We are recruiting hopeless underperformers and letting promising young players go
We only recruit from bottom clubs
DCE is overpaid
Turbo should retire from origin and only turns it on when he wants to get picked
Aloiai is a powder puff and should be put out to pasture
Crocker isn't a real #9.....

suffice to say we should get beaten by 50 tonight.

personally - I reckon we will turn up, play well, and get a solid 12 point win. Nothing special - but a win.
