Despite some dodgy and close results I think it is good as Eagles supporters to look how this year compares to last year.

This year we have won 10 games and lost 4 and sit 3rd (equal second) on the ladder. Last year we had won 4 and lost 10 and sat 2nd from the bottom (and equal last!) on the ladder. That is one hell of a mighty turn around. :dance:

We are at a $1.03 dividend to make the 8, something we would have only dreamt about last year. Face it - we are finals bound for the first time since 1998!

$1.03 - interesting.

Thats a 3% return on investment in about 3 months or 12% pa.

not bad.

If I had a million, I would throw it all on the Broncos for the top 4 and let the money roll in.

This will shock.

Fluffy did argue in the off season that last year we lost some close ones and that if we could start to win some of them, the season would look better. That has proved to be correct.

Beaver and Kennedy seem to be the ones that get us over that line. It's amazing how much "mopping up" they do in a game.
