Rookie likely to shine 2020

There are some outstanding Manly rookies who are in line for a gig at NRL level.
Good as they are, won’t be rushed but some based on ability and form, may well force the issue until Des gives them a run.
Who do you think will be the best standout by the end of 2020 ??

I take Keppie and Guocamole, with maybe Schuster....so versatile could almost play 9, but specialist at 5/8 or backrow

When young Sam was signed we had serious doubt regarding the quality and depth of our outside backs .... since then Parker, Garrick, Suli and Elliott have all sttod up ... and younger stars like Hoppa, Burbo Schuster and Funa are in the mix ..... with Musgrove added ...

I fear for Sam .... but good luck to him .. if he succeeds he will have beaten off a strong field ..

Keppie could be a permanent part of the 17, and I’d suggest, quickly.

With all the wraps on Schuster it’s hard to see him not figuring and I’d suggest he might have been guaranteed a run to have stayed ( plenty of opportunities at many of the other clubs).

Keppie be in 17 he looks miles more impressive than Sipley, Paseka and Boyle. Des may choose to hold him back but he quality. I don't think either josh Schuster or b turbo will see fg in 2020. Albert hopa will get his chance if he fit given he can like his brother cover backs positions.

Well for mine Keppie was a standout and almost MOM in the recent semis so I think he is a special to replace AFB if he is not fit for first few games. If AFB is fit, Keppie should be on the bench. Probably with Sipley and Jack / Waddell plus Cust / Croker. Hooker could be the other surprise 2020 rookie with Ipape. I have only seen him play against GB but from that I would say good odds of him batting on and surprising a few people. If we sign Levi, he could be the utility off the bench given he also plays half. All the other young guys I think will also make an impression but will be determined by available slots, injuries and rep duties. i cant recall us being in this great position for many years.

I'm almost positive Schuster will see NRL in 2020.

Wont be a lot, maybe 1 or 2 games late in the season when injuries have hit

Albert Hoppa seemed to be a rookie going really well in his 2019 pre season until his season ending injury . As he can probably adequately cover wing and full back and maybe centre , could prove very useful next season and should have quite a few opportunities to show his ability .. Haumole should be primed to make his presence felt and there should be some opportunities for Schuster during the latter stage of next season once the development squad has less restrictions , really should be good enough by that time .
