RLW : Rookie Patrol - Cuthbo

After three seasons learning his craft in the lower grades, formers Avalon Bulldog ADAM CUTHBERTSON is ready to deliver the goods at Brookvale.
Only 21, Cuthbertson is an impressive 188cm and weighs in at 104kg, an ideal size for a modern second-rower. He has speed, size and the ability to off-load well under pressure.
"Adam has been in our full-time summer training program for three seasons and the benefits are starting to show" Manly coach Des Hasler says.
"He is a bigger and more confident young man now and understands what it takes to make the grade in the NRL.
"I have no doubt he will get his opportunity in 2006".

I saw stewy get run down then steppa get away from teh same players later - i know who id back out of the 2 above

Steppa had a groin niggle all last year and this may be why his outright pace and lateral movement was average at times.

The pace he showed against the Tigers indicates he is flying fit this season.

On the topic of pace I would be very surprised if Watmough isn't quicker than half the backs in the comp or more. Beaver at his best was right up with anything but the absolute flyers!
