Having seen Jason Robinson trying to get Souths home on Sunday I've just seen Badger lose it in Melbourne and send Ryles off for a stab to the shin in a scrum. Whatever happened to reason with these idiots? It's difficult to coum up with a reasonable unbiased ref amongst the lot of them.
Ryles send-off aside, the Dragons have been allowed to lay all over the Storm all night - just as they did in their game against us. The Storm play the ball has been pedestrian. If the Dragons didn't have 12 men they could nearly have gotten the biccies tonight because the play the ball has been so, shall we say, unusual?
That Ryles send off was quite easily the most laughable I have ever seen. But you can rest assured that Finch will back him to the hilt, and there will be no accountability or public scrutiny. Badger should be sacked for incompetence.
He clearly panicked after the earlier brawl. Not the right decision but there were mitigating circumstances.Â
