Rd.5 Player Ratings - Manly vs Titans

Journey Man
Well, another round, another away loss and the continuing struggle Trent Barrett has with 5/8's.

Matthew Wright 5/10 - Safe option, but wasn't too safe.
Jono Wright 4/10 - Late inclusion, scored with first touch, otherwise unsighted.
Dylan Walker 5/10 - Lacked match fitness. Will be better for it.
Bryan Kelly 7/10 - Other than that dropped ball was one of our best.
Akuila Uate 4/10 - Continued poor form. Made some decent enough runs though.
Lachlan Croker 2/10 - Marty Bella is failing at pivot worse than Dylan Walker did.
Daly Cherry-Evans 7/10 - Tried his guts out as usual without much help. Brain snap kick on the 2nd.
Addin Fonua-Blake 6/10 - Tried hard, ran hard, brain snap penalties.
Api Koroisau 7/10 - What on earth is the potential NSW hooker playing at 5/8 for when we have a 5/8 sitting on the bench???
Martin Taupau 5/10 - Maybe he should muscle up with his body, not his brain during games.
Joel Thomson 4/10 - Continues to disappoint.
Frank Winterstein 3/10 - Sorry Frank, back to Blacktown for you.
Jake Trbojevic 5/10 - Tackled everything he could but not his best day out.

Jackson Hastings 7/10 - Sparked off the bench. SHOULD be our starting 5/8.
Shaun Lane 6/10 - Didn't shirk it. The move to prop has transformed him.
Lloyd Perrett 6/10 - Not that bad really.
Jack Gosiewski 7/10 - Definitely put his hand up for Siro's job.

Trent Barrett 2/10 - What can I say, we're currently in another failed 5/8 experiment and it is again hurting the team.

The good thing is that Tommy should be back in the side next week and hopefully Brad Parker as well. But FFS Barrett can you please admit defeat and put Hastings to 5/8. We're begging you.

Without Tom Turbo, who is our No. 1 attacking weapon, we looked toothless in the first half. Croker doesn't run the ball. What was Jono Wright doing leaving Blacktown today?
It was all up to DCE . . . and then Hastings came on and gave us another attacking option.

Dunno about Croker, we struggled hard when he left the field. This was the second game I genuinely felt Jage had a shocker, he's in some poor form. Gosiewski wasn't that good, Perrett hasn't done anything of essence since rd 2 and Api's lack of fitness and discipline is beginning to piss me off.

Then again out of all the doom and gloom I look up and see a great side that's just really struggling with consistency. Nothing more, nothing less.

Poor depth at the moment, really stretched. Tom Trbo isn't the issue with this performance, it was a collective lack of intent. An improvement on our deadset coach killer against souths, only just, and just as disappointing.

Nearly most frustrated i've been at a loss ever, also why the **** are we starting to follow the trend of kicking for penalty goals for no reason. Sets a **** attitude
