It's been very quiet about any possible injury to Brown and Aloiai and likely recovery time.

Taukeiaho appeared to have a cork from the game against Cowboys, so maybe Seibs may give him a rest this week and bring in Aloiai, and maybe Brown will replace Waddell, even though Waddell did little wrong, albeit, low minutes.

Talau is also due for a return, however, you can't drop Hoppa, Saab or Koula after last week, however, Koula may have a 'niggle', given Burbo replaced him in the centre, so maybe he gets a rest as well.

The depth Manly has is getting close to the 80's when Ray Brown (Kangaroo) was in the Reserve Grade because he couldn't shift Krillich from Hooker and Schubert (Kangaroo) was in reserve grade because he couldn't shift McCabe and Cleal. Now, this is before we had 14 to 17 named, as any replacement for 1st Grade had to have played a full game (almost) of Reserve Grade to be a replacement for 1st Grade. Tough times for some.

Yeah, I thought I heard that Koula came off for a hamstring issue and with 2 backs on the reserve bench, he could drop out.

How would Taukeiaho even make the team next week anyway? He would have to replace Sipley as I don’t think Waddel would be dropped as his cover for back row and middle. He played good for a first game. 20 minutes with 85m and line break assist. Can only get better you’d assume.

Can't see Seibs not making a late switch, putting Talau in for Waddell. Waddell didn't even get a run until a back went down, so what's the point of him being there, anyway?

Next week we'll probably have Taukeiaho, Waddell, and Brown in NSW cup. Not to mention another forward in Tevaga playing out of position. That's some good depth. I remember the club didn't ever disclose what was wrong with Lawton at the backend of last year. Missed like three games in a row, and not a word, so I'm unsurprised by the silence around Brown.

The Match Officials don't look the best @

Hey bird gang, hope its a good game in Auckland. Hopefully Jazz pays us back for all the costly mistakes over the years and drops his bundle as a payback.

Good luck guys. TBH i think the birdies will be far too strong and fast for us.
Spine didn’t work for you guys in Vegas, is Healey a chance to come into the 17?

Your moniker... AFB
Such a good player...
Sadly, such a mercenary!

Would I want him at Manly?
On one hand, yes. But on the other, no - I don't think he promotes club culture or loyalty.
Good luck Sharks - Who's next?

Got to earn confidence.
One win doesn't earn that.
Warriors looked better than anyone in the trials.
They will be going hard to bounce back after a loss.
They've had 2 weeks to prepare for us.
Take this game lightly, and or don't show some new found grit and composure and we'll go down.

If we just try and play touch footy because of last week's big win we'll go down.

Need to show the tough stuff up the middle and dominate for mine.
