No excuses
Panthers 36/37 completions
39 play the balls in our 20 while we had 7 in there's.
You don’t win footy games when the opponents play that good
Dragons did us no favours last week
Again dumb plays cost us

Another game lost on the stroke of half-time with unsuccessful miracle plays, that end up costing us late points.

Game management baby, game management.

I think the effort from Manly has been great this year but they do not have the pack to consistently win games. If the opposition pack is off (e.g. Melbourne two weeks ago), we can win some games. However, if it’s two packs turning up to compete, we do not have the leg speed and ruck speed to turn momentum.

We were brave today but at no point did we win the ruck and gain momentum. In fact, I cannot remember an attacking set inside Penrith’s 20 in the entire 80 minutes.

Garrick has been absolute rocks and diamonds this season and this one was absolute rocks.

I think he needs to return to the wing. At least twice this game, he sent Saab to jam in, calling for himself to tackle To'o and twice he missed him. To'o is a SOO player but those were duties Garrick put on himself and was unable to fulfill.

Talau has proven himself as a first grader and objectively has been more consistent than Garrick. I think he should move to centre.

Even the tries we scored we were opportunistic shifts. We never controlled the ruck so no surprise Penrith were able to eventually get on top. The only thing they were losing was the scoreboard.

Panthers discipline was very good, completion rate was outstanding!!

Good effort from a few players, Tommy T, Hoppa and Tent were good from my perspective.

Sipley, Alioia, Garrick and Brownie were below par for me, Jake didn’t back up like I thought he would..

Dragons at home expect a huge effort for the two points..
