For the last three years I have sat at Parra Stadium in the sponsors box which is right behind the players tunnel - perfect seats. My mate (who is a Manly fan) always gets me seats there because his boss that owns them rarely turns up even though he pays the yearly minor sponsorship price of having the prize seats; I think every year when Parra have played Manly, Parra have been doing terrible and he hasn't seen it fit to turn up.
This year, the boss inquired about the sponsors seats numerous times and no one got back to him, so he gave up throwing his - I wish I could say hard earned - cash at the club.
It got me to thinking is this a sign of this small problem of not getting back to this sponsor, who has sponsored his favourite club for many years, of a far bigger problem within the club administration.
Anyway, my problem is I now have to sit with the travelling supportahs now.😉
