14. Api
Fainu to start to give us more energy, and at end of game when defence tiring. And for magnificent Api to have a big stretch in middle when team can switch off. Fainu would be devastating in two spells.
15. Sipley
Talk he'll be back by round 23. Will be huge effort to get a guy that size fit and in form by finals, but if anyone can do it, Donny can. Loss of Sipley underestimated. Adds more than Paseka.
16. Perrett
Many will disagree (like they did with my Walker at 5/8th call, and Parker to have breakout year in 2019 call in Jan. Fair enough.) Perrett has 'X' factor you need in finals and offers more variety than Boyle, who just takes hit-ups. I'd rather Perrett have Boyle's 10-minute cameo. He's playing for next contract so will be motivated.
17. Jack G
Nothing in it between him and Waddell. Just think Jack G offers slightly more spark and extra cover for injuries. Also, with two big boppers on my bench, Jack G brings slightly more mobility.
18. Waddell
19. Paseka
20. Boyle
21. Croker
Would keep current bench as is for now - except for replacing Croker with Cust. I like Croker, but reckon Cust is better suited to hooker than 5/8th, so worth an experiment on bench for a few weeks. Despite his recent errors (not unexpected for a rookie) Cust has points in him and real potential as dummy half.
