The next 4 weeks are crucial in my mind

Tigers at home
Dragons away
Storm away
Roosters at home


Why do I think this?

Tigers, a game we should win but these games we don't normally go well in
Dragons, bogey team of ours...down at win stadium
Storm, don't see us winning here, storm full strength down there.
Roosters another tough game, won't be easy.

I say we need to win at least 2/4 of those games anything else a bonus

If you have a look at the teams around us fighting for that top 4 position they have very easy draws compared to us playing teams in the bottom half of the ladder. Drop a few games we slip down to 7th or 8th and again fighting for our finals position.

This period will make or break our season I reckon.

If we get through this part of the draw it is not as bad in the final few rounds

Tigers away
Dogs away.. it will be Josh r's last home game won't be easy
Warriors away
Panthers at home to finish.

The one big positive I see though is now all our games apart from round 26 are played on a Sunday. This could be a big advantage for our playing style. Dry weather footy.

Realistically we can very easily go 7-1 over that time, maybe 6-2. The two danger games are the Storm in Melbourne and the Chooks. We can beat both, but I think the Storm will be much tougher especially with their Origin players back.

The rest, while not to be taken lightly, are games we should win.

We have relatives in Melbourne so generally go down for the game. I think we do pretty well down there.

If we can win four of our last eight games, that will be a good result. We have some challenges coming up and don't forget that this is a learning season for the team. I do have faith though that this team is not intimidated by anytime and is a chance in every game that we play!

I reckon 7-1 to be honest. The side is developing good defence and that mixed with our phenomenal attack and pressure building can make us a heavyweight, could win all, could lose 2.

Just checking the ladder and if we win 5 of our remaining games will put us on 34 points and almost guarantee a top 4 finish . The teams below us obviously will be under the pump plus our F/A will come into play. I awoke this morning still reeling from the performance of the ref , but felt great thinking about the position we are in and not thinking about winning all our games just to make the finals like the last couple of years. My friends we are building a very very good side here .

We need to win and win well against the tigers. We are at that point of the season where we need to freshen up and bigger picture Barrett must blood some kids in the next month. The new kids will determine this season and next.

Everyone last night Lane, Cullen, Parker looked very comfortable in the top grade.

The next month is massive.
