Too many injuries. Suli now also out. There must be something in the water out there at Narrabean headquarters. We have done our best under adverse conditions this year. Thats why fans should not complain and dig into the boys. We dont have the players to cover for injuries like the chooks. Look at the rabbits, they have so many good players, Gagai, alex Johnston, Mitchell, walker, damien cook and adam reynolds (probably one of the best backline in the NRL). Manly relies on forwards and a grinding style of game.That type of game, unfortunately, is history.

I'd prefer to see us using the remaining games with an eye to building for the future, rather than desperately trying to win games... bring in young guys for experience and have a look at them, and experiment with how we play.

Last Monday night on CH9’s 100% Footy Gus Google said, every team deserves to be where they are on the ladder.
Then he added, except Manly who’ve had injuries to star players.
I might’ve agreed with this prior to the Souths game, but now it seems to be about the ‘tude.

All they need to do is get their passion back and they’ll be more than competitive. They showed it earlier this year with some strong wins against top 8 teams and at one stage was high up in the top 8. It all fell apart with injuries to top players and the hullabaloo about AFB frustrated outburst against the referees in the Knights game. We need a leader like Jamie Lyon who would get the players together and push them on no matter the circumstances. It has happened once this year when DCE got the players together in the great Canberra win and they played like their lives depended on it. We need more of this.

Does anyone here have a tent?? I recon we tie a rope around each winger, and use tent pegs to stick them to the sidelines...
It doesn't matter what our forward pack can do, it doesn't matter what halves we play, if our opponents score easy tries literally every attacking set by strolling past our wingers down gaping holes on the sideline we won't win another game this year..
