For several years the K Boys, Kite and King have done a great job for Manly and layed the foundation for many wins with a fairly simple style of play.

For some reason in 2012 they look to me as if they want to be Arthur Beetson like off loaders at every opportunity.

My heart goes in my mouth every time they hit the ball up and look for a supporting player. I hope they lose this feature of their game, and very soon. Way to many errors. Leave the fancy stuff to big George.

I gotta mention Vic Mauros impact last night, he is no star, but I like the way he hits it up and is error free.

Agree, interesting that the commentators spoke of this in relation to the doggies. Could this be the next evolution in the game - more ball movement in close? That would help combat the 'wrestle' for sure, can't risk committing 3 defenders if there is second phase play coming from the forwards
