Interested to see how Brendan Elliott goes tonight.

Elliott has played okay in the first half tonight.

However, his selection on the wing brings back memories of when Des, at the last minute, swapped Garrick to fullback (maybe his first NRL game in that position) and Elliott to the wing in 2019 Rd 25 v. Eels. Sivo ran over the top of Elliott a few times & scored three tries. Also at the last minute, Des selected AFB as left edge. Needless to say, similar to other games when Des has made bizarro selections, we lost badly.

Paytens done a great job at the Cows this year, but this was a game the Titans really should have been able to win.

Yeah, the Cowboys just have really good habits at the moment, no matter who they put on the field. Still a big step up to Penrith's level, but they're giving themselves a shot at a strong finish.

And Peta Hiku has been excellent for them all year.

Considering he's been out of the NRL for over 18 months, I thought Brendan Elliot played well tonight. Good on him and good on the Cows for picking him up.
